My passion is seeing people establish and restore healthy relationships with themselves, others, and their most deeply held dreams and passions.

Phillip Tucker

MA, LPC-MHSP

I help people make peace with themselves and the difficult parts of their journey through various skills and techniques. Counseling is the container for building a solid relationship with my clients and helping them learn solutions to their problems.

My clients find mindful self awareness helps them tap into their inner wisdom and regular self-care practices help heal old wounds. This frees them up to live more fully in the present, while building an optimal future.

My resume is colored with a wide variety of jobs working with diverse populations. My history of working with clients from a variety of  backgrounds through previous non-profit, government, community mental health, and residential settings, deeply influences my practice.

One of my most rewarding experiences was working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. I learned so much about grace, love, and the tenacity of the human spirit.

I view my work with clients as being very collaborative.

I believe you bring a lot of resources to the table already, including some that you may view as part of “the problem.” The problem was oftentimes an answer to an earlier challenge, which is why we call it “The Answer.” My clients are often stunned by this revelation when they experience this truth for the first time. I offer support and strive to create safety in therapy, yet don’t shy away from giving direct feedback or challenging a thought or belief that might be getting in the way of progress.

Clients tend to appreciate my blunt, yet caring disposition. I’m unapologetically me and encourage you to be the same.

I genuinely believe we are all on a journey to achieve whatever it is that we most want out of life. We all need to know that we have what it takes to fully embrace that journey. The only way to truly know that is to take the leap. You have to be willing to go to the places within yourself that scare you the most in order to achieve the greatest rewards. We all have our metaphorical dragons to slay.

If you’re willing to go to those scary places within, We will help equip you with the skills and resources you need for the journey .
